Union Grove Union High School District is proud to announce the launch of its updated branding, marking a significant milestone in our school’s history. This initiative began last spring, driven by a diverse group of stakeholders, including educators, administrators, administrative assistants, students, parents, and local business owners.
Why the Change?
Our brand is more than just logos and colors—it’s a reflection of who we are as a school and a community. During our initial review, we discovered many great aspects of our current brand, but also areas for improvement. The use of various shades of red, inconsistent logos, and a mix of visual styles led to a lack of cohesion in how we represent ourselves.
Supporting Our Strategic Vision
This branding initiative aligns closely with the district's 2024-2026 Strategic Plan, particularly our goal of establishing a well-developed brand. A consistent and professional brand helps reinforce our values, increase recognition, and strengthen connections with students, families, and local partners.
The Process
To address these challenges, we embarked on a collaborative journey. After creating initial visual concepts, we shared them with all teachers and staff, as well as the school board, gathering valuable feedback. This input was instrumental in refining our designs and ensuring our updated look truly reflects the spirit of Union Grove Union High School.
The result is our first-ever branding guide, approved by the Board of Education on October 21, 2024. This guide will serve as a roadmap for maintaining consistency across all our communications and visual representations.
What’s Next?
The new branding, which embraces our rich history while presenting a modern, cohesive look, will start to appear across the school in various forms. From updated signage and uniforms to digital platforms and printed materials, our community will soon experience the unified identity we’ve worked so hard to achieve.
We’re excited to roll out this fresh, distinctive visual identity and invite everyone to join us in embracing this new chapter for Union Grove Union High School District.
