Local Musicians Shine at District Solo and Ensemble Event- This past Saturday, students from the Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble showcased their musical talents at the district-level Solo and Ensemble event held at Central High School. Over the past three months, these dedicated musicians have been diligently preparing both individual and group pieces, culminating in a memorable performance in front of a panel of music educators, family, and friends. The event provided an invaluable opportunity for students to demonstrate their hard work and commitment to their craft. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all participants for their exceptional efforts and the learning experiences gained through this assessment. A special shout-out goes to Urijah Rosa, who delivered an outstanding piano solo. Urijah's remarkable performance has earned him a spot at the state level competition at UW-Parkside in May, where he will represent our school with pride. We are incredibly proud of our students and their achievements.
