On July 8, the School Board voted to place a referendum question on the November 5, 2024 ballot. We are asking voters to consider approving $34.9 million to address capital improvement projects.

All students grades 9-12 must come to school for a yearbook/ID picture, Noon - 7pm on Wed, August 14. Enter the South doors and head to the cafeteria for pictures. Your ID will be ready to take with. IDs are needed for lunch, late entry, and free entry to home games.

Senior parents please check your email for information regarding Senior Athletic Banners, as discussed at the Fall Sports meeting. Currently we are taking orders for Fall sports banners for senior athletes.

All students will need to come for a student/ID picture and to pick up their IDs on Wednesday, August 14th between Noon and 7pm. We are also available in the office during that time to take in-person cash or check payments for student fees

Practice permits can be obtained from the Athletic office on the following dates: Aug. 1st from 7am-3pm Week of August 5, 12, & 19th will be Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 7am - 3pm. Reminder: August 5th @ 6pm is the mandatory Fall Sports parent meeting in the large gym. Note: All online Skyward Athletic registration & concussion/cardiac form, incl. a current physical need to be completed prior to obtaining the practice permit. Physicals can be emailed to gehrgin@ug.k12.wi.us, faxed 262-878-4056 or you can bring in a copy when receiving the practice permit. We encourage the athletes to come in to sign their own practice permit, but understand if the parent needs to come for them due to work, schedules, etc. Please see attached for Fall Sport start dates and last minute physical options.


We apologize for any inconvenience, but our building is closed until Monday at 7am. The electric work was not completed on Wednesday and will continue into today.

On line forms for Back to School are now available. We have split them into shorter, easier to do forms. Please complete all of the green boxes in your PARENT PORTAL in Skyward for each student at UGHS. They are located to the bottom right and will disappear when completed, except Parking which is always open for updates. All boxes you see in your portal are required other than Parking , and Athletics and Concussion if your student is not in athletics.
